Cottage Renovation

The Cottage has been renovated with a new kitchen, floor tiles, carpet and a coat of paint (well three actually!!).

Sumertime

Summer is in fully swing and the grass is still green after great Spring. Baby animals are growing, kids, lambs and calves. Come to Aspens in Summer and wake up to delightful birdsong from the surrounding trees. Laugh at the antics of the frolicking kids and calves. get up early and take a walk in the cool morning air and then enjoy the beautiful sunny days that follow. Relax and toast marsh mellows by a bonfire, under the stars in the evenings.

New Poultry

We have just acquired some new poultry.  We now have a selection of rare breeds including speckled hamburgs, turkeys, some very pretty Plymouths (red,black and blue) ;  another team of Wyndots and some Elizabeth ducks. We still have the old favourites the peacocks roaming the grounds and expect to see some peababies in this Summer. The turkeys produced a big clutch babies in the Summer which have grown to good table sized birds. Any takers for turkey plucking!!
